Abstract
Personalizing the educational process is crucial to addressing students' individual needs. In this context, the VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) model offers a valuable methodology for identifying and optimizing learning styles. This study aimed to characterize the learning styles of Bachelor of Nursing students at Universidad Salvadoreña Alberto Masferrer. It analyzed 123 students from two specific cohorts: Cycle IV, beginning direct care for low-risk patients; and Cycle VI, focusing on mediumrisk patient care. Both cohorts emphasize the ethical application of professional secrecy and respect for human rights. Data was collected using a 20-multiple-choicequestionnaire, which demonstrated reliability with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.74. The main findings indicate that the kinesthetic learning style was the most prevalent. This highlights the critical importance of clinical practice in the nursing discipline, where procedural competencies are essential pillars of formative development.
